The Titanic was due at Plymouth [sic] to-morrow if all had gone well.

Mr. J. Cloke, owner of the boat Harmony, of Mevagissey, picked up a bottle on the fishing grounds off the Dodman on Monday night. Inside was a strip of paper, on which was written:- "15 April, 1912. s.s."Titanic Struck iceberg. No hope of many being saved."

The idea of the message having come from the Titanic has been ridiculed by seafaring men."
