Louis Auguste Dornier

Mr Louis August Dornier was born in Beaune, Burgundy, France on 16 October 1891. He was the only child of Joseph Dornier and the former Joséphine Emélie Germain.

When he signed-on to the Titanic on 6 April 1912, Dornier gave his address as 3 Orchard Place, Southampton. His previous ship had been the Olympic. He served as an Assistant Fish Cook in the à la carte restaurant managed by Luigi Gatti.

Louis August Dornier died in the sinking and his body, if recovered, was never identified.
