Luka Čačić

Third Class Passenger

Mr Luka Čačić was born on 6 October 1873. 

He was married to Anna (born c.1876) and it is recorded they had 9 children.

He was a farmer from Kula, Croatia (Austria Hungary) and boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a third class passenger with three members of his family.

To reach his destination of South Chicago, Illinois, he bought his ticket from the agent: Johann Isidor Büchel, Buchs for 170 Swiss francs (ticket number 315089, £8 13s 3d).

Mr Luka Čačić died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.

His widow Anna, and his father Simon and stepmother Jeka in Kula, received £150 from the relief fund.
