Engineers of Ill Fated Ship Honored by Monument at Southampton
SOUTHAMPTON, April 22---Sir Archibald Denny, the Scottish shipbuilder,
performed the ceremony of unveiling a memorial to the engineers of the
Titanic to-day.
Albert W. Swalm, the United States Consul in this city, delivered an
address.  Ten thousand persons were present.  The memorial is a granite
monument, surmounted by a bronze angel bearing a laurel wreath.
