WILKES-BARRE, Pa., April 20---After waiting for years for his relatives to save enough money to pay his passage from England to this city, where he was to make his home with Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Adams, of Oxford street, Henry Rogers, 19 years old, about to realize the joy of his life, went to his death in the Titanic disaster.

When the Adamses left England several years ago Rogers was an orphan. He pleaded to be brought along. Finances wouldn’t permit it. He took hope in the promise that when enough funds were saved passage money would be sent to him.

The Adams family sent on the money, and young Rogers left on the Titanic.
