William Thomas Stead: The Biofix Pictures

A few days before he boarded the Titanic W.T. Stead travelled to the Biofix studios at 56 The Strand, London. Photographs were taken of him displaying "Characteristic Gestures". He was going to use the images in a lecture on novel photography. These may be the last pictures ever taken of him.
