About the Author
Award-winning author, Joyce B. Lohse, grew up in Illinois where she sometimes spent her school recess time writing stories and poems. She is the author of a dual biography of Colorado’s first govenor and his wife entitled, First Governor, First Lady: John and Eliza Routt of Colorado. She is happiest when researching and writing about pioneers of the West for her books in the Now You Know Bio series.
