Family Information
George and Lydia were the parents of five children: Thomas (b. 1877), Clare (b. 1881), Elizabeth Walton (b. 1882), George Walton Holker (b. 1889) and Whitelaw Reid (b. 1891). All of whom were born in St. Louis.
After Titanic disaster, in July 1912, Elizabeth married to Dr. James Beaver Mennel. She and her sister were married in a double wedding - Clare Allen married to Charles Homer Haskins.
Dr. Mennel and his wife settled in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. They had three sons: James Beaver, John McMillan and Peter. Elizabeth lived there until her death on 15th December 1967, at the age of 85.
