Daniel Tobin of Denver, Col, now in Chicago and a guest at the Palmer house, passed most of the morning in the offices of the White Star line seeking information in regard to his sister, Mrs. J. G. Brown, also of Denver. When finally a report came in with her name included among those taken on board the Carpathia he was overjoyed.
“No more suspenses like that for me,” he declared mopping his brow. “You can talk about stocks and bonds, but nothing ever had me going the way that did.”
