Ivan Stanković

Mr Ivan Stanković, 33, an unmarried labourer from Galgovo, Croatia, boarded the Titanic at Cherbourg.

To reach his destination of New York City, he bought a third-class ticket from the agent: Im Obersteg & Cie., Basel for 250 Swiss francs (Ticket No. 349239, £8 13s 9d).

Stanković died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.

His brother Mije Stanković in Galdova Erd (Sisak) received £40 from the Titanic relief fund.
