There were no Evanstonians aboard the ship. Arthur Ryerson and family, formerly of Lake Forest and well known in local social circles were among the passengers. All are reported saved except Mr. Ryerson. Mrs. Ida S. Hippach and daughter Jean, formerly of this city, but whose home is now just south of the city limits in Rogers Park, were also passengers. They are among those now being brought safely to shore.

Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Linthicum, 1315 Forest avenue, their daughter, Miss Lois, and Miss Ancinett Gardiner, 1218 Sheridan road, had reservations on the Titanic to sail from New York Saturday. The trip will have to be postponed until the White Star company makes arrangements to transfer its passenger list.
